A customised set of London landmark art prints

Zarina was looking for a set of prints to fit a specific frame in her dining room, designed to hold five landscape images, as her current ones had faded. She had seen my London landmark placemats and loved their design.

Any size, any space - prints made to fit a bespoke frame

As my London landmark prints were being customised, Zarina had the option to choose colours to suit her taste. She sent photos of her beautiful space that had a gorgeous world map and colourful dining chairs and wanted a colour scheme that would complement them.

The Process

All our communication took place over email. The apertures on her frame were designed for smallish prints, so I suggested my London Landmark range as those would work well at small sizes. Zarina browsed my online shop to make her selection and I adapted my original illustrations to suit her format and colours.

Seeing photos of Zarina’s space greatly helped to create a cheerful colour palette that would add life to her wall.

As well as an email proof, I sent her a printed mini-proof showing a segment of each piece at actual size. The proof was printed on the same paper as the final pieces to enable her to judge the colours as close as possible to the final ones.

Zarina now has a set of five art prints that are just for her and her family. With care, her fine-art prints, produced using archival inks and paper, will last a lifetime and more.
